There is a reason this play is one of the most popular in Shakespeare’s canon. It. Is. Spectacular. Yes, it’s filled with mystical fairies and all sorts creatures from folklore. Yes, it’s got romance, it has belly-laugh comedy. Yes, it has some of the most beautiful poetry ever. But it also has some quiiiiite fruity sexual undertones and packs a philosophical punch!

We will read A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM on ZOOM. We will then go to THE BRIDGE THEATRE in London to see the return of their smash hit production, directed by the theatre’s artistic director, NICHOLAS HYTNER.
