Setting the scene: A crisp glass of something, a delicious morsel, the smell of summer flowers wafting through the open windows of your home. Connected to friends old and new you embark on a dreamy adventure into the anarchic mind of William Shakespeare.

Iiiiit’s a classic. You probably performed in it at school, you know the story and the characters, sure, but do you really know what lies behind the laughter and mayhem? There is so much philosophy and social commentary woven through this magical play. Come and peel back the layers and really experience what A Midsummer Night’s Dream can be.

We will read the A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM together via ZOOM and then head to SHAKESPEARE’S GLOBE to see their sparkling new production, directed by Elle While and starring the Globe’s artistic director, Michelle Terry
